ARMED SUSPECTS are a volatile concoction of brutal riffs, mesmerizing hooks and amazing melodies delivered over a pulsating rhythm section as a backdrop for anthem-y vocals and singalong choruses.

Composed of Jay on mic duty, DJ on the six, Violence on the four and Nick on the skins, the four-piece came together seeking to pick up where local heroes, The Anti-Socials (1997-2003), had left off.  ARMED SUSPECTS drew on a wide range of influences, ranging from American classics like the Anti-Heros, The Bruisers, Those Unknown & The Beltones to UK legends such as The Clash, SLF, Newtown Neurotics, The Oppressed, The 4-Skins, Angelic Upstarts and too many more to list, to create an unique sound that has already won over the home-town crowd.  Seeking to win over the rest of the world, the band has already played out of state and continues to book shows wherever beer is plentiful and the kids want to dance.

Straight out of Orange County, NY, ARMED SUSPECTS practice and spend most of their time in Middletown, NY.  You used to be able to find us at W.C. O'Farrell's, 38 Beattie Avenue, Middletown, NY, rocking back 20 oz. Imperial pints of Guinness, Smithwicks, Belhaven or other numerous beers from the tap or in bottles whenever we aren't playing shows, but unfortunately O'Farrell's has closed its doors.
